Rare, ancient and authentic soccer or mud skate. Made of wood and wrought iron. A wooden sole, all around which was sewn a strip of leather (here absent), is enhanced by an oval shape of wrought iron thick, fixed, at the front and back, with the help of 2 large nails shaped by hand, on the wooden sole by 2 forged iron legs, one of which maintains the front of the sole. The front of the sole is rounded toe. These soccer shoes were used mainly in the north of the france, allowing women to walk in the mud by avoiding getting their dresses dirty. This soccer is rare because of its seniority (possibly xvith century). Dimensions (length x width x height): approximately 27 x 10 x 4 cm.
