I propose you this little Gallo Italo-Etruscan gallic import pitcher. Height 9,5cm (absent background, blocked neck). Estate issue, legal and transparent circuit.
This object may be presented as being in the first Italo-Etruscan imports reported by (Villard 1960: 138-61). My reference piece in the seventh century is the schnabelkannen bronze from the burial in the rue de dun, bourges (expensive). (Bouloumie 1973: 20, figs 7-9).
The provenance must be marl or more generally champagne, in fact, several hundred graves were searched in the nineteenth century. Similar copies at the National Archeology Museum of St-Germain-en-Laye, Chalon-en-Champagne, Reims, etc.
