Description: Rectangular black lacquered box decorated with painted golden motifs. Figures and landscapes are depicted. The box has a lock. The interior is lined with pink silk.

Technique: Hand-painted decoration / lacquer. Lacquer objects are made from a resin or gum derived from various Oriental plants. Material: lacquered and painted wood / silk.

Dimensions: approximately 21 x 15 x 7 cm. Good condition, with some rubbing and minor flaws in the lacquer, see photos.
