Very beautiful walnut sculpture of Saint Luke the Evangelist. We can see the saint writing on a tablet, with an ox at his feet. In walnut, in good used condition, with old traces of wood-boring insects to note. There is a restoration on the back, certainly to fill a hollow in the wood. Saint Luke is resting on a console.

French work from the late 17th / early 18th century. Dimensions: Height: 53 cm, Width: 21 cm, Depth: 3.5 cm.
