Rare and very large antique "cul noir" dish, early 18th century, made of glazed terracotta. The bottom shows pronounced wear and a repair, with two staples added in the 19th century, which was common practice as nothing was thrown away if it could still be used.
I believe it is very sturdy. It has a lovely round shape with a thick rim and the irregular shape, characteristic of the potter's work, adds to its charm. Dimensions: 33.5 x 7 cm. Shipping to Europe: 26 euros, rest of the world: 79 euros.
