Antique Chainmail Alms Bag in Art Nouveau Style (1900s)

  

Object type: Evening bag / reticule coin purse / aumônière. Period: Early 20th century (Belle Époque / Art Nouveau period). Clasp details: Beautiful metal frame sculpted with floral motifs and organic scrolls typical of the 1900 style.

Material: Gold-colored metal mesh (brass), flexible and pleasant to the touch. Interior: Original satin lining in flesh / old rose color, in perfect condition with no tears, which is very rare for this age! Finish: Lovely pointed tassels hanging from the bottom of the purse. Equipped with a small chain for wearing on the wrist or carrying by hand. Condition: Excellent condition for its age.
