Mirror set on a walnut box entirely encrusted with mother-of-pearl set with tin fillets. The mirror, whose glass is bevelled, rotates on an axis against two turned wooden columns that connect it to the box. Very nice set dating from the late 19th century and native to Syria. Size of the box: 32cm long x 19.5cm wide x 12.5cm high.
