This gorgeous box features an intricately hand-carved design of musical instruments and flowers from the 1700s to the late 1800s these ornately carved storage boxes would have taken pride of place in the provencal kitchen. Made from walnut wood with a sliding browboard. The box measures; 42cm (16 1/2 ") tall, 17cm (7") wide, 11cm (4 3/4) deep can be freestanding or wall mounted. Lovely antique condition, the wood has a nice patina. The construction, which simply slides together, is still solid. The original fabric lining is still present.
