Antique amethyst glass and gilt jardinière attributed to Moser Karlsbad

  
This elegant Bohemian crystal piece features a superb amethyst hue enhanced by rich gilded decoration depicting a delicate Louis XVI bow and finely executed floral garlands. Its oval shape with wavy contours gives it a refined silhouette, characteristic of luxury Belle Époque production. Although no signature was found, the quality of the glass, the finesse of the gilding, and the style of the decoration are very close to Moser creations from this period. Comparable models in gilded amethyst glass are documented in specialized sales. This jardinière will fit perfectly as a table centerpiece, decorative bowl, or planter for a floral arrangement.
