Carved oak bas-relief in Renaissance style with decoration of a Devil's head and grotesque and foliate scrolls. Hand-carved in bas-relief in the 1800s, this panel of French Oak wood is in the Renaissance style. In the center of the scrolls there is a Devil's head topped with a small helmeted head treated in "grotesque" of remarkable quality.

Perfect condition, may be a furniture element. The wood has developed a beautiful patina that highlights all the carvings. Our wonderful 19th century oak bas-relief panel can be displayed on the wall of any room in the house.
