Persian bottle or flask, known as saddle flask, 18th or 19th century (possibly earlier), blown glass, authentic. Dark green, very good condition, clean, no chips, cracks, or flaws. The Persians were apparently the first to be able to blow glass bottles sturdy enough for wine transport. Height 24 cm, width 17 cm, thickness 8 cm, weight 920 gr.
