Pretty wooden flour box of the xviiie may be beginning xixe, carved in facade of heart motifs, roses and a star on the bottom. This typical Provencal piece of furniture (fariniero or flour mill) was used to flour fish for frying while retaining the superfluous flour. The fish was placed in the box and shaken with flour.
