Unusual antique pouring cane (absinthe, St Raphaël, Byrrh)

  
An unusual antique walking stick with a dog’s-head handle that serves as a liquid dispenser, similar to an aperitif pourer. The handle unscrews so you can fill the shaft with your chosen drink, then screw it back on. Simply pour the contents into a glass (see video). It works perfectly and is in good condition, with wear consistent with its age. No maker’s marks or hallmarks. The handle is made of spelter with glass eyes, the collar is silver, and the shaft is Malacca cane. Further information available upon request.
