Ancient and rare wooden monk bed, Museum, 18th century, medical material

  
Selling very old and very RARE wooden monk dating back to the late 18th century. This monk was used to raise the sheets in the bed when it was heated using a heater, or was also used for medical purposes to prevent the sheets from touching the leg during treatments, hence its circular shape. All parts are rounded to avoid hurting the patient. Medical utensil from that time. Rare museum piece in this condition (see photos taken in official documents to show the authenticity of this beautiful piece). Some traces of treated woodworm.
