Ancient pair of Caryatids 16th Renaissance carved wood women greyhound eagle
Beautiful pair of caryatids from the Renaissance period, Normandy 16th century, made of carved walnut wood, depicting women holding a cornucopia and supporting a basket of fruits and flowers, at their feet: a greyhound for one and an eagle or falcon for the other. There are some losses and signs of past woodworm attacks. Dimensions: total height 77 cm and 75 cm. Height of the caryatids alone 51 cm.
