Old towel and dishcloth rack from a bourgeois house, late XIX or early XX, rare for sale! This is a beautiful object (see photos) of popular art that hangs on the wall. It unfolds like an umbrella and retracts with the help of a rod that needs to be pulled. It used to be hung in a large kitchen and the household staff used it to dry dishcloths and towels. Good overall condition (see photos) except for traces and scratches on the wooden rods (see photos). Traces and scratches from use (see photos), sold as is. Board height: approximately 52 cm. Max width: 21 cm - Rod length: 60 cm - Rod width: 2cm. Rod thickness: approximately 0.5 cm.
