Very Beautiful Historical Piece, High Bronze Relief with varied patina, green and chocolate. Mounted on Black Marble Plaque. Signature to be identified Dated: 6.

Created in July 1937 on the hill of Ettersberg near Weimar, Germany. Initially intended to imprison opponents of the Third Reich, mostly communists or social democrats, it later received some 10,000 Jews arrested during the Night of Crystal in 1938, as well as Gypsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, political opponents and other common law prisoners.

During the Second World War, prisoners of war were also sent there. Political prisoners organized resistance there. Total measurement of marble plaque. Length 22.5cm on one side and 20.5cm on the other side - Width: 12.5cm Thickness 2.1cm - Some chips on the Marble.
