Old collection cane: giobatta torchione fecit. Does it look like a makhila or makila Basque stick? Datant from the 18th century and with chiseled silver head. Metal virule with silver ringing.
Nature of the wood ignored. The cane is 1 metre long. The silver handle measures 47 cm. The upper ball is finely chiseled as well as the long silver part. On both sides is engraved in silver the mention: "gio: batta torchione fecit" in old characters on a length of about 10 cm prolonged and preceded by fine chiseled decorations.
Maybe an old stamp erased at the base of one of the inscription columns. The whole thing is in good condition. Very light draught of money at a place under the ball (photo 12). Apple and ringing covering the virule have been tested massive silver. Found status of the mention "giobata torchione fecit" on a catalog of arms auctions, no other info.....
