Bird-decorated deceptive pitcher in glazed earthenware - Le Fuilet, Anjou, 19th century. Interesting deceptive pitcher from the first half of the 19th century, made in the pottery center of Le Fuilet in Maine-et-Loire. Marked below the neck “amitier.

” Signed at the bottom on the body by the potter “Julien Brangeon” and “Le Fuilet.” In very good condition for this early 19th-century pitcher. Beautiful decoration consisting of 4 birds on the neck of the pitcher and a bird’s head at the base of the handle. Height: 14.3 cm, length: 12.5 cm.
