Description: 18th-century carpenter's compass, made of wrought iron. It features a square head with a stylized fleur-de-lis shape at the end, with similar work on the other side of the compass.

Right angles are marked on the edge. The tips are shaped like sea monster heads, with undulating bodies forming an openwork design of a spade, a sphere, and an inverted grail.
