Nomoli de sierra leone in very ancient stone! This anthropomorphic sculpture in soft stone (steatite no doubt, or saponite) was supposed to represent an ancestor. She was buried in the fields and had come out and beaten if the crops were not good!

Close to the guinea ointment. The hands are tied in front of the bust, back, arm, bust and striated cap. No doubt very ancient (possibly xv or xvieme century), see literature on the subject is not specialist...
