Add this shop to my favorites. Very pretty and rare varnished terracotta oil jar, origin center of France, perhaps Auvergne or Angoulême region, of the eighteenth century. This jar is in good condition, it is in its own juice. It has its original cap (plug mark also pouring spout). A note: bursts and gaps in the neck and on the beak, small luster on the left side body, lacks on the varnish, wear of time. We are selling other old oil jars on this site.
