Beautiful piece in English stoneware signed Doulton Lambeth Slater's Patent, model no. Made by the famous Doulton & Co (Royal Doulton) - well-known for its artistic pottery from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Silver mount marked, textured leather-like decoration with inscription.

Motto inscribed around the jug, upside down. An authentic Victorian collectible piece, typical of Doulton's artistic style at Lambeth (London).

Top diameter 8.5 cm. Vintage condition with no structural damage. No chips, very good condition for its age. Slight signs of wear, visible in the photos. Original mark visible under the base.
