Sewing box set, 19th-century Romantic period, in embossed paper, Au Bon Marché

Antique chest or sewing box. A superb compartmented model, decorated with embossed glued paper. The colors are very fresh. The central illustration is marked Au Bon Marché. The underside of the central compartment is adorned with a vanity mirror. Unfortunately, the exterior is damaged, with tartan-style striped fabric and some missing areas (see photos). The savings box at the back needs to be restored (the bottom has been pierced with a hole). Dimensions: 22.5 x 35 cm.
