Tapa Artisanal Polynesia 1950s
This tapa has remained in the family since my father brought him back from the ocean around 1950. He stayed in a closet because he couldn't expose him to us. Geometric patterns and stylized flowers, colours: beige, brown, ochre; red, white and black.
Today, it might interest a museum, an amateur or a collector, its sale could fill a prospective buyer, in a closet it does not benefit anyone. Dimensions: 1.26 m x 0.545 m, thickness 3 or 4 mm. If interested make decent offer. Visible by appointment if necessary to aubagne (mouths of the rhône). Possible shipment in roll (diameter about 9 to 10 cm) (additional costs) or removal on site after actual payment.
