Very Beautiful Rooster Weathervane Antique Riveted Copper

  
Very old weather vane in beaten and riveted copper featuring a rooster. It has remnants of antique paint. The screwed support and rod may be later additions, but it's uncertain. Height without the rod is 14 1/2 inches. Length is 18 1/2 inches and the width is 3 1/2 inches at its widest point.

The wooden base is said to have come from the same place according to family history.
