Wooden cigarette holder folk art, Saint George slaying the dragon

  

Beautifully carved wooden cigarette holder with an interesting depiction of Saint George slaying the dragon. This intriguing piece of folk art, very well made, is likely a unique item and still bears some remnants of old polychromy. It probably dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is in good usable condition, though the tip shows signs of nibbling wear and the end has some burn marks.
