Very beautiful oil, cider, or other jar, size xXL (15-18 liters), ancient 19th-century French artisan-made stoneware from Puisaye. Large bulbous body, small short neck framed by 2 large rounded handles.
Grey/light terracotta stoneware, the rest of the body glazed in shades of rust, rust-red, light khaki, beige, grey, with some traces of glaze. Notably, a few more or less visible scratches, small dents, and traces of rubbing on the body.
