Cabinet of curiosities, devotional art... Large and unusual crucifix in pâte de verre, assembled using hot-glass appliqué techniques.

Handcrafted, with a beautifully raw finish, strikingly irregular proportions, and a slightly curved cross. An uncommon piece, solidly made and stable. The textured, hot-worked glass has a beautiful transparency and was probably shaped in a single operation, without a mould or template.

Extremely light rubbing underneath the base. Weight excluding sturdy, secure packaging: 950 grams.
