Old Provençal wooden bell necklace, bell, folk art, 19th century

  

Selling old bell with wooden collar in the shape of a gendarme hat, from the 19th century, originating from the Alpilles. This magnificent bell has a clapper made of bull bone held by a leather strap (see photos). Very beautiful sound, nice tone.

Shepherd's initials engraved on the collar "SB". Very beautiful piece of folk art, nice patina. Bell base width: 7 cm. Shipping costs reduced for group purchases.
