Shoe snuff box with carved wood and brass system, 19th-century folk art

  

Add this shop to my favorites. Snuff box in carved wood, in the shape of a shoe, with a mechanical opening system, decorated with inlaid brass lines, and a carved bone plate (beef bone) for the mechanism. Folk art piece, from the 19th century.

This snuff box is in good overall condition. Note: a few minor chips, scratches, and signs of age on the wood and brass.
